RETAILER NOTES / RED SEA IMPORTS
Before you buy: a tea & coffee checklist
A retailer’s tea and coffee buying checklist: identify the exact format, compare pack and case sizes, review labels and prepare a wholesale inquiry.
Write down the format
Record the product name and how your customers expect to prepare it. Loose tea and tea bags are different requests; coffee formats also need to be identified precisely. Avoid treating an entire tea or coffee brand as one interchangeable item. If you have a pack in the store, use its exact name and size as your reference.
Separate shelf size from case size
Decide what size of pack makes sense on your shelf, then ask how that item is supplied wholesale. Record the units per case alongside the retail pack size. An estimated requirement is useful even if you have not chosen the final order quantity; explain the estimate and ask the team to confirm the available configuration.
Check the information customers use
Ask for the label details associated with the exact item, including ingredients for blends and preparation directions where supplied. Confirm date and storage information instead of assuming it from another product in the range. Keep the agreed specification with your buying notes so the next inquiry has a reliable reference.
Send one clear buying brief
Your brief can be short: business and location; brand and product name; preferred pack; estimated quantity; questions still open. Explore our tea and coffee brands, then use the wholesale inquiry form to share that brief. The team will discuss the current selection; a logo on the website is not a promise that every format is available.
